Top 5 infosec links of the Week (VI)

Learn from the mistakes of others , disappear Internet , the value of geo data card , the rising price of Bitcoin and Typosquatting. The five top post this week.

We begin the article with the words of the guys from Dark Reading, recently surprised us with the lessons we should all learn from the five most notorious attacks this year: Cryptolocker , New York Times, Bit9 , the DDoS operations and South Korean blackout. No waste.

What should invest if we could go back to the beginning of the year? Neither Twitter, or Netflix, or anything like that. In Forbes are clear : Bitcoin is the solution, an increase of 5000 % of its value. Seeing is believing.

Knowing this, where should we buy ? Well this is not so clear, after learning more typosquatting attacks based on social engineering deception very similar URLs.

And that to buy, which to sell things get even uglier, with trafficking identities groups, and their interest in learning not only our card numbers, but the geo preceding purchases, which decreases greatly the possibility of discovering the theft.

In view of the above, it is not uncommon that some people choose to be removed from the network. Is difficult, but with the infographic accompanying this article, you'll have a little easier.
